My "last" post.

Tomorrow is the exam of this subject so maybe I won´t write any more or perhaps I will just write less. I love writing but before I have never written in English before this blog and I think that this has been an amazing idea because I have used my creativity and I have improved the way that I write a lot. I liked a lot the idea of writing on a blog the first time that I listened from the teacher because I have already a blog, but it is in Spanish.
In the future I would like to be a good English teacher and I think that I will encourage my students to improve their skills with writing, writing a blog. Writing is a very good way to discover yourself and it is also a very good way to vent. I would like to keep writing in my spare time. I know that writing in Spanish is easier but the best way of learning English is practising it and I know that in the end, in a few years, if I keep on this, writing in English will be as easy as writing in Spanish for me.
So, to sum up, I need to give thanks to our teacher, who had this brilliant idea of writing a blog because this subject has been really useful.

4th evaluable practice

Task: Write a short Opinion essay (around 250 words) positioning yourself against something most people agree (but you do not).

Small towns vs big cities

Living in a small town is better than living in a big city, although most people think that big cities are better than villages.
I have always lived in a small town where there was only one school, one high school and a small medical centre. When you live in a village, you know all the people from your same village and a lot of people from the nearest villages. But, when you live in a big city sometimes you do not even know your neighbours, and that is a little sad.
However, villages are very peaceful and there is a lot less pollution. Last month, when I travelled to Madrid, I realized that that I could not see any stars in the sky and that made me feel unhappy. Besides, nowadays everybody has a car or knows someone with a car, so if you need something from the city, you can go by car or by public transport.
In a small town you will never arrive late to places because of the traffic and at big cities there are more robberies than in small villages. Furthermore, villages have beautiful traditions and parties typical from each village. In my town there is a beautiful tradition that consists in all the people that turn 18 each year meeting and having dinner together, and throwing straw in the town.
Summarising, I have lived in a town and I am living in a city, and I am against the stress, the pollution and all the problems of the cities.

Valuable things.

My time is the most valuable thing that I have. I am not rich and I am not the most interesting person in this world, I don´t have anything to give, only my time. I really appreciate people who present me their time, I don´t need any material thing because a good conversation is better than anything else, a hug is the most beautiful present and the most comfortable place is not the most expensive hotel, it is anywhere where you can be surrounded by good people. Spending time with my best friends and my family is my favourite hobbie, it is my litttle pleasure. I will always enjoy each minute that I pass with the people I love because in the end, love is all you need and memories is everything what you will have when you get old.

Je suis Charlie. (I am Charlie)

I am very upset with today´s happening. Today, 12 people have died in Paris, murdered by people that were against the way of thinking of these 12 people. I am very sad because we are in the 21st century and we aren´t free to express our thoughts yet. I hope that these 12 deads aren´t useless and that this is another step to achieve a very big goal: Our freedom of expression. I really love writing and I couldn´t image a world where someone says to me what can I write and but I cannot write. RIP.

Essay about music.

Music in our lifes.

How important is music in our everyday life? We do everything with music. When we drive or travel by car we like listening to the radio. When we are cleaning our house, we like listening to lively music. When we are sad, we tend to listen to melancholy music, that makes us even more sad. When we are studying, we listen to calm listen that helps us to concentrate. When we are in a party, we listen to music that makes us want to dance. And like this, in every single moment of our lives.

There are many different types of music. Some people like reggaeton, some people like rock, some people like pop, etc. I like all of them, why choosing just one type when you can listen to all of them? If I am in a party, I will listen reggaeton, If I am in my house, I will listen to rock, when I am studying I like listening to films soundtracks. Everybody is free of listening whatever they like and we mustn´t criticize. There are a few types of music that I dislike but I respect people that listen to it because I like people to be respectful with my music.

Music is therapeutic, it can help you when nobody can. There is a song for each one. Some times, songs tell your story, it is very easy to identify with a song. Everybody has a song that, for one reason, is more special than all the rest of the songs. My favourite song is 'Leave out all the rest', the first song that I listened of Linkin Park and it is my favourite song for all the things that I feel when I am listening to it. Your favourite song is the only song that you can listen a thousand of times and it will always be like the first time.

I couldn´t imagine a world without music. Music is my best english teacher. Music is my best psychologist. Sometimes, music is my friend. Music gives me everything what I need. A world without music would be very sad and bored.

My 2014.

Someone told me at the beginning of the year that 2014 could be my year, my best year, because I was going to turn 18. And 18 is a beautiful age because you can travel without parents and you can bassicaly do everything that you have been doing all your adolescence but legally. In 2014 I have cried with my final high school exams and I laughed when I got my marks. I cried while I was reading my graduation speech because I thought how much I was going to miss my friends, my teachers and the high school were I spent six amazing years. In 2014 I performed in a musical, I cried before the performance and I laughed after performing. I have travelled with my friends to Salou, Port Aventura, to Mojacar and to Vienna to watch my favourite rock band in 2014. And, isn´t travelling the best was of enjoying a year? This year I moved to Murcia, I cried before becoming independent because I wanted to live with my mum forever. I cried the first day of University because I was so nervous, I was afraid of being rejected. But now, I can laugh in peace, because I love Murcia, I love my University, I love my degree and I really love my classmates. Actually, I wouldn´t change my life. So, to sum up, I want to give thanks to everybody that has helped me to make this year an amazing year. Please 2015, be as good as 2014.

EVALUABLE PRACTICE 3

Task: Write a short Problem/Solution essay (around 250 words) about an issue you consider worth analysing.

The worst problem that Spain has at the moment are the cut backs in pubic health and schools. Cut backs are a very serious problem, many doctors, nurses and teachers are getting fired because of the,. Moreover, there are people that have health problems that can´t be solved because the public health doesn´t pay a treatment for them and they can´t afford the private health. To have a very good education is very important for a person´s life, but, nowadays the schools can´t give to their students the best education because there are not enough teachers and there are too many students per class.

The only solution that I see is to fire as many politicians as we can, because Spain does not need all those politicians. There are other countries, like Germany, that are bigger but, in contrast, have fewer politicians. Spain spends too much money paying each politician his income. I can not understand why a politician needs to get payed that much, maybe the cut backs have to be done at their salaries and not in public health and schools. A politician does not work more than a teacher or a doctor and, in my opinion, a politician is not as useful as a doctor.

In conclusion, the problem of Spain are politicians and the way they can´t think about the well-being of the population.
